I was looking through some pictures of various aerobatic teams and i noticed that the Russian Knights have/had five Su-35's. However, in the text it said that they were not used in team formations. Instead they were, due to "various reasons", used for spare parts. Does anyone know what those reasons were?
The pilots had, according to Wikipedia, already gone through the conversion to fly the Su-35, so i don't think it had anything to do with that.
